Philosophy Metaphor?

answers1: If not for philosophy we would have no 'intelligence'. Our
very process of thinking requires that we have knowledge (which is
metaphysics, such as "that is a tree" or "the dog is soft".) It
requires epistemology (such as "I know the dog is soft because...) Our
actions require that we have given thought to our ethics; even as
little children we know our parents have said "no hitting".) <br>
<br>
Without logic you can't think; our brains are hardwired to think in
terms of induction and deduction, though we may learn other forms of
it. <br>
<br>
So philosophy is not a battle against something that comes from words.
Words are our friends, if we have the will to use them realistically.
answers2: Since Ludwig Wittgenstein once said words to the effect that
the only thing left for "philosophy" to "do" is to analyse language
(Grammar as philosophy? Philosophy as Grammar?), your quote sounds
like one of his aphorisms. But it is a good metaphor, since the most
common fallacy in reasoning is what Aristotle called the "fallacy of
names" (in translation: "the argument that turns upon names only" ) or
the fallacy ambiguity in more modern speech. <br>
<br>
ARISTOTLE: <br>
Let us now discuss sophistic refutations, i.e. what appear to be
refutations but are really fallacies instead. We will begin in the
natural order with the first. <br>
<br>
That some reasonings are genuine, while others seem to be so, but are
not, is evident. This happens with arguments, as also elsewhere,
through a certain likeness between the genuine and the sham. For
physically some people are in a vigorous condition, while others
merely seem to be so by blowing and rigging themselves out as the
tribesmen do their victims for sacrifice; and some people are
beautiful thanks to their beauty, while others seem to be so, by dint
of embellishing themselves. <br>
<br>
So it is, too, with inanimate things; for of these, too, some are
really silver and others gold, while others are not and merely seem to
be such to our sense; e.g. things made of litharge (Lead? KB) and tin
(lead plus tin = solder ??? KB) seem to be of silver, while those made
of yellow metal look golden. <br>
<br>
In the same way both reasoning and refutation are sometimes genuine,
sometimes not, though inexperience may make them appear so: for
inexperienced people obtain only, as it were, a distant view of these
things. <br>
<br>
For reasoning rests on certain statements such that they involve
necessarily the assertion of something other than what has been
stated, through what has been stated: refutation is reasoning
involving the contradictory of the given conclusion. <br>
<br>
Now some of them [reasoning or refutation (i.e. refutation = elenchus
= what Socrates did KB)] do not really achieve this, though they seem
to do so for a number of reasons; and of these the most PROLIFIC and
USUAL DOMAIN is the argument that TURNS UPON NAMES ONLY. <br>
<br>
It is impossible in a discussion to bring in the actual things
discussed: we use their NAMES as symbols instead of them; and
therefore we suppose that what follows in the names, follows in the
things as well, just as people who calculate suppose in regard to
their counters. But the two cases (names and things) are not alike.
For names are finite and so is the sum-total of formulae, while things
are infinite in number. <br>
<br>
Inevitably, then, the same formulae, and a single NAME, have a number
of meanings. Accordingly just as, in counting, those who are not
clever in manipulating their counters are taken in by the experts, in
the same way in arguments too those who are not well acquainted with
the FORCE OF NAMES misreason both in their own discussions and when
they listen to others. For this reason, then, and for others to be
mentioned later, there exists both reasoning and refutation that is
apparent but not real. [The Sophistical Refutations; Ch. 1] <br>
<br>
Thus Wittgenstein, if it is actually him, and Aristotle seem to be in
a modernly "strange" agreement. <br>
<br>
Kevin
answers3: Yes. You are absolutely right. <br>
<br>
"Metaphor is a poetically or rhetorically ambitious use of words, a
figurative as opposed to literal use. It has attracted more
philosophical interest and provoked more philosophical controversy
than any of the other traditionally recognized figures of speech."
answers4: The practice of Philosophy is a battle against ignorance;
the light in the dark; and, the quest for enlightenment.
answers5: Philosophy is a battle against the bewitchment of our
intelligence by means of words. Thoughts on this metaphor? <br>
<br>
~~~ "All statements are true in some sense, false in some sense,
meaningless in some sense, true and false in some sense, true and
meaningless in some sense, false and meaningless in some sense, and
true and false and meaningless in some sense." -Robert Anton Wilson
<br>
<br>
"For every Perspective, there is an equal and opposite Perspective!" -
The First Law of Soul Dynamics <br>
<br>
"There are no whole truths: all truths are half-truths. It is trying
to treat them as whole truths that plays the devil." - Alfred North
Whitehead <br>
<br>
<br>
Or does anybody have anything better? <br>
<br>
~~~ A better metaphor? <br>
A metaphor is only as 'good' as the 'mind' perceiving it! <br>
A great 'mind' can perceive a book of matches and Know the Universe! <br>
<br>
Besides, isn't everything a 'metaphor'? *__-
answers6: I would say philosophy is a battle against the bewitchment
of the mind by means of reasoning. It is the misty realm of myth and
superstition and dark regions of the unknown that could bewitch
intelligence, enabling the intelligent to conceive strange impressions
and very cleverly devise ways to express what is not understood
through proof but accepted through beyond doubt believing. Then it is
literature instead, and not philosophy, that fights with words against
whatever in the world is seen wrong or for whatever is seen as right.
<br>
<br>
Philosophical thought remains at the forefront of whatever the mind
has in sight. There to roam about the twilight zone between the known
and the unknown, a place however within the reach not in yet the
grasp. Philosophy then then by the methods of abstract reasoning
prepares that region for the application of the methods of science.
This is why philosophy is described as the mother of all branches of
knowledge, i.e. maths, science, psychology, sociology etc.

Question about performing arts colleges?

answers1: performing arts is an particularly wide topic/ identify for
a significant in college. to opt for a significant, you want to
interrupt down your significant to a extra definitive study of
interest. In different words you want to specialize. lower than I
actually have listed some belongings you could significant in. it will
be my advice as you concentration on those to opt for the position
your heaviest interest lies and then analyze colleges which have solid
classes for that significant. utilized music (music overall
performance in an device, or voice) music practise (be a music
instructor) music treatment - works music and psychology for remedies
etc musical theatre- Broadway (singing,performing, dancing) theatre-
performing (demonstrate screen or degree) theatre/drama practise
utilized dance (overall performance) dance practise music composition
playwright/ screenplay author music arts leisure agency and
administration (agent) get my theory? the record ought to pass on and
on in "performing arts"- yet to be 14 and wondering about it, means
you've time to think about what makes you the happiest- because it
takes actually loving it, to delight in it even as making a occupation
of it best of success to you! extreme college choir/ musical director
15 years
answers2: Prodigies don't have to be experienced, though sometimes
they are. You might be one. :-) <br>
<br>
I don't know exactly what places like Juilliard are looking for. I do
know that people that get in there usually are prodigies. My advice
to you would be to get as much instruction as you can. Get a real
acting coach for private lessons and/or take acting courses. Practice
as much as you can at home in addition to doing productions. Practice
little tiny details like facial expression and voice inflection a lot.
Those are the types of things that separate you from the
rest--technique. That's usually, honestly, the biggest difference
between Juilliard-level and simply good performing arts-college level.
The level of technique. And also the level of deep-down
understanding, which only comes with great instruction and incredibly
intense practice. And, of course, talent. <br>
<br>
You probably already do this but I always try to tell people to find
someone who you just think is truly amazing. Or more than one someone.
Use that person as inspiration and aspire to that!
answers3: Bottom line is they are looking for talent and
teach-ability. (your audition) When its all said and done, no one
cares about high school productions.

What can you do after getting a bachelors/master degree in performing arts/music?

answers1: The most you would really be able to do is be a music
teacher or a choreographer or something of the like. If you are good
at acting/singing you don't need the school, if you need the school
you won't get anywhere. Keep your masters in medicine. Why risk a
stable future for something that you know in the end will turn into
nothing more then a "Why didn't I become a doctor?" in the end. If you
have an interest in it and you know there will always be a need for
scientists and doctors, then why waste time and money on a big "what
if...?"
answers2: not much. in this economy don't waste your money on that
kind of thing. you don't really NEED school for that anyway you can
teach yourself. <br>
<br>
To get a masters in it would be overkill, not only would you be
overqualified for anything you tried to do you know that graduate
students can't take out loans the way they used to right? <br>
<br>
Seriously I'm an animation/ film major and i switched a really
technical field in the same industry nobody wants to do because i
know i will get a job, i know i will get health insurance. Sure it
will be harder but i will make money, i will NOT regret this. <br>
<br>
You can always go back to doing performance arts. You can teach
yourself even, seriously any degree in arts is unneeded and overkill.
<br>
<br>
Seriously though establish yourself first, then go back to it. <br>
You will have double the skills and be better off
answers3: I'm virtually in the identical situation. Tune is my
passion, but if i get a measure in track, what are the possibilities
to get a excellent job someday? Very slim. So that is why i picked a
principal wherein i am more prone to discover a job. I'm now not
saying to go away tune at the back of. Keep doing it. Do it as a
passion besides going to school. Or additionally you could double
main, but that's quite a lot of work. But when you find it
irresistible the whole thing is viable.
answers4: tricky point. do a search with a search engine. that could
actually help!
answers5: There are far more people graduating with degrees in music
performance every year than there are jobs opening up. A while back
the New York Times did a survey on Juilliard instrumental graduates
from a particular class in the nineties and found that just under a
quarter had full-time jobs, roughly half were cobbling together a
living through freelancing and private teaching, and just over a
quarter had left the field completely. That's Juilliard, the hardest
school to get into, the one that turns out the best performers. Other
music schools probably put a much smaller percentage into full-time
jobs and had more graduates have to find jobs in other fields. <br>
<br>
There is no economic security attached to a degree in music. None.
However, I know loads of doctors who are excellent musicians and
continue to play chamber music or perform in local recitals.

Is it possible to get a job in Performing Arts management with a Business Administration degree?

answers1: Great to know you realize the practical and realistic
consideration of the whole concept. <br>
<br>
As just having the straight Business Administration is certainly but
the foundation of both, and will nicely blend for any interest in the
Management in any Performing Arts areas. And, double for anything
outside of the entertainment industry in the meantime. <br>
<br>
To have such academics and even practical experience in business, you
then can go on to continue any prerequisites for your (any) art
interests and realizing the value of the management side. <br>
<br>
Smart, because those who are strictly into the arts and get through
any academics and even career positions turn out to be naive and
uneducated when it comes to the business aspects. And even personal
survival, with the economics and overhead that comes along and have to
be dealt with eventually. <br>
<br>
That is where the agents and business personnel have to step in and
take charge for the good of the clients' sake.

BTEC or A-Levels - Performing arts?

answers1: I would like to firstly say good luck on your IGCSEs now ask
yourself why wont you get in to the performing arts school and think
of a way to solve it. Also try find alternative schools to go. <br>
Now think about your ambitions in life. Take two things to
consideration would you like to study something that is fun and will
earn you not alot of money or study something which will earn you less
money and then you will become wealthy. That is up to you some will
pick money some will pick fun. <br>
Now if BTEC is a problem for getting into a good
university in my opionion go for your pilot dream always have a back
up plan for an example seth mcfarlane was has a history degree but now
he writes comedy. Always look for other jobs like i believe an air
traffic operater works 4 days a week and eventually earns 100000 a
year. <br>
Consider everything I have said and good luck for
what is going to happen in the next couple of years.

Can i make a good career out of performing arts ?

answers1: Most people who embark on arts careers know they'll have to
support themselves with non-arts jobs, at least temporarily. The
problem with arts careers (whether music, visual arts, acting, etc.)
is that there are thousands of qualified candidates for every job
opening. As a result, the people who do land jobs usually aren't paid
especially well because they can be easily replaced. There are a few
people at the top of every field who earn fortunes, but most artists
do what they do for the love of it, rather than the financial rewards.
<br>
<br>
Since having a degree isn't a requirement in the arts, it's worth
considering performing arts as a minor and studying something more
practical to pay the bills. Most actors, for instance, don't have
arts-related degrees. Casting directors value experience more than
formal education, so aspiring actors hone their craft in workshops and
through involvement in theatrical productions. Musicians carve their
own paths, as well, and arrange their own bookings directly through
club owners, so there's no real advantage to having a music degree
unless you want to teach. Success in the arts comes from having
talent and being willing to pay your dues so you'll be ready for any
opportunities that do arise. <br>
<br>
There aren't a lot of careers that guarantee financial security, but
the arts has always been a risky venture. But if you love performing,
it's something you'll pursue whether or not you're ever able to make a
living from it. I've worked for years as a professional musician, but
still have a day job to pay my bills, as do most musicians I know. A
few have gotten successful enough to quit their jobs and do music full
time, but they understand that their fortunes could change at any time
and they may have to reenter the work force. And I know an actor who
got his "big break" with a co-starring role on the hit show "Twin
Peaks". He was briefly able to abandon his other jobs and focus on
acting, but even the exposure he got from that wasn't enough to
sustain his career and he eventually abandoned acting altogether
because he wanted to be able to support a family. But to this day,
he's very active in theater and says he'll never stop acting because
it's something he can't imagine his life without. <br>
<br>
If you pursue performance for the love of it, rather than with the
goal of making a living, you'll always find a place for it in your
life. But in any city or town with a thriving arts community, you'll
meet plenty of other artists working in offices, coffee shops and
retail stores because there will always be more of them than jobs
available in their chosen field.
answers2: it can be a good career path if you have the pateince and
the money to put into it..there will always be rejections and you have
to stay stronng through out the whole process. it takes alot of money
for the training required(: gooood luck!

Laptop Internet history?

answers1: Browsers keep history based on the settings in the browser.
Look for your browsers history settings.
answers2: What browser are you using? If its Firefox, you can get your
history by clicking the history tab at the top, then hitting show all
history. If the history button doesn't appear, use the alt key to
display it. In Internet Explorer, click the favorites button on the
right, then click history. Keeping a lot of history and temporary
files can really slow your system down, i'd recommend using Piriform
CCleaner to remove these unnecessary files every month or so. CCleaner
does remove history unless you tell it not too, so if you use it, be
sure there is nothing in history that you need.
answers3: depends what laptop and what internet browsing thing you

How do I start a family/genealogy search?

answers1: Start by getting information about your relatives who are
deceased or born at least 75 - 80 years ago. Most records available
on-line are prior to 1930, with the exception of some death records.
<br>
<br>
The details you need are Names(include middle names, maiden names),
Dates (or approx.year) of birth, death and marriage, and the Places
where these events took place. Military, immigration, and
church/religion infromation would also be helpful. <br>
<br>
Ancestry.com is, there is a fee but it is definitely worth it. They
have almost everything you need all in one website. <br>
<a href="http://www.ancestry.com"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.ancestry.com</a> <br>
There are a lot of free sites too. Here are just a few: <br>
<br>
The Mormon LDS church has vast collection of family history, Social
Security Death Index and US (1880), Canada & UK (1881) Census records.
They also offer free family tree software (.PAF5.2). <br>
<a href="http://www.familysearch.org/"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.familysearch.org/</a> (for
records search) <br>
<a href="http://www.familysearch.org/eng/home/wel..."
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.familysearch.org/eng/home/wel...</a>
(for software download) <br>
<br>
Rootsweb has family trees with over 250 million names and links to
useful regional volunteer-run databases. <br>
http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi (for searching trees) <br>
http://userdb.rootsweb.ancestry.com/regional.html (for regional links) <br>
<br>
Cyndislist is a very popular site with extensive links for specific
countries and ethnic groups. <br>
http://www.cyndislist.com/ <br>
<br>
US Vital Records <br>
http://usgwarchives.org/ <br>
<br>
Cemetery and Death Records <br>
http://ssdi.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-b... <br>
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi... <br>
<br>
Message boards for people researching common surnames and regions <br>
http://genforum.genealogy.com/ <br>
http://boards.rootsweb.com/ <br>
http://boards.ancestry.com/ <br>
http://www.cousinconnect.com/index.html <br>
<br>
Ted Pack's website is really helpful for people who are getting
started in their research. You'll get great advise and details about
the most popular free sites, I would suggest going here first: <br>
http://www.tedpack.org/yagenlinks.html <br>
<br>
If you get stuck, post another question with the details you have and
request help to find information. People are usually amazed with the
answers they get here. <br>
<br>
Good luck in your research. You'll find it's a very rewarding experience.
answers2: I would try the Rootsweb site (off of geneology.com I believe) <br>
or the Church of Latter Day Saints website, they usually have some
good info. <br>
<br>
Hope this helps. <br>

answers3: job a million: communicate over with people Ask relatives
relating to the relatives. record each and every thing, even the
doubtful memories grandma used to tell!!! there is perhaps a shred of
certainty in the back of those memories that have been given adorned
over the years/generations. Ask dad and mom approximately their dad
and mom & grandparents... do a similar alongside with your
grandparents in the event that they are nonetheless around (or their
siblings). i can't rigidity adequate how significant that's, as census
& church information won't in any respect supply you the form of
private strategies you will get from people who easily KNEW the
ancestors you in no way met. i do no longer comprehend what u . s .
you're learning... in the U. S., i think you will get right of entry
to census information as late as 1930, which will comprise many
people's grandparents (in line with probability great grandparents
while you're particularly youthful). you will get Canadian censuses
for 1911. in the united kingdom, you may't get right of entry to any
censuses later than 1901 (1911 due on line sometime on or after 2011).
in certainty, you're finding for relatives memories/archives which
will take you decrease back to ancestors born till now the date of the
obtainable census in the appropriate u . s .. then you definately
could get right of entry to those census returns to locate your
relative. this might tutor the relatives they lived in, and with any
luck this might comprise their dad and mom. then you definately
artwork decrease back in direction of the census returns finding for
each new relatives member stumbled on (you will additionally ned to
get right of entry to different information, particularly the marriage
index, which will furnish maiden names of girls people). that's a huge
job, in spite of the indisputable fact that it turns into much less
annoying with prepare.
answers4: ancestory.com. Its really easy to use, free, and it will

Have you researched your genealogy? What is the best free site?

answers1: If you haven't researched it, it's not your genealogy and I
mean that in the best possible way but you can't just copy names off
the Internet and call it a family history. A few years ago there were
almost no source documents available online at "free sites" now more
and more are being added daily. A good place to start is U.S. GenWeb
at: <a href="http://www.usgenweb.org/"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.usgenweb.org/</a> they have a
page for every state and every thing is free. Also, I would be remiss
if I didn't mention FamilySearch.org they have many online records
that are free and are digitizing more every day. Their website is: <a
href="http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/WebSites/frameset_websites.asp"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/W...</a>
Also, check each state that you need information from as many have
their own projects, for example the state of Missouri has a great
website that has many free source documents online at: <a
href="http://www.sos.mo.gov/mdh/browse.asp?id=8"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.sos.mo.gov/mdh/browse.asp?id=...</a>
answers2: Try all of these: <br>
You should start by asking all your living relatives about family
history. Then, armed with that information, you can go to your public
library and check to see if it has a genealogy department. Most do
nowadays; also, don't forget to check at community colleges,
universities, etc. Our public library has both www.ancestry.com and
www.heritagequest.com free for anyone to use (no library card
required). <br>
Another place to check out is any of the Mormon's Family History
Centers. They allow people to search for their family history (and,
NO, they don't try to convert you). <br>
A third option is one of the following websites: <br>
<a href="http://www.searchforancestors.com/..."
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.searchforancestors.com/...</a>
<br>
<br>
<a href="http://www.censusrecords.net/?o_xid=2739..."

<br>
<br>
www dot usgenweb dot com/ <br>
<br>
www dot census dot gov/ <br>
<br>

<br>

<br>
www dot archives dot gov/ <br>
<br>
http://www.familysearch.org/ <br>
<br>
http://www.accessgenealogy.com/... <br>
<br>
http://www.cyndislist.com/ <br>
<br>
www dot geni dot com/ <br>
<br>
Cyndi's has the most links to genealogy websites, whether ship's
passenger lists, ancestors from Africa, ancestors from the
Philippines, where ever and whatever. <br>
<br>
Of course, you may be successful by googling: "john doe, born 1620,
plimouth, massachusetts" as an example. <br>
<br>
Good luck and have fun! <br>
<br>
Check out this article on five great free genealogy websites: <br>
<br>
www dot associatedcontent dot com/article... <br>
<br>
Then there is the DNA test; if you decide you want to REALLY know
where your ancestors came from opt for the DNA test. Besides all the
mistakes that officials commonly make, from 10% to 20% of birth
certificates list the father wrong; that is, mama was doing the
hanky-panky and someone else was the REAL father. That won't show up
on the internet or in books; it WILL show up in DNA. <br>
I used www.familytreedna.com which works with the National Geographics
Genotype Program.
answers3: actually, most of the best places DON'T want money...
because they are not tagged as "genealogy". You might be limiting
your thinking by wanting "one best site" to begin with. The pay
sites, except for ancestry.com, pretty much hook you in by the idea
that they are doing the work for you. You might find an ancestor in a
library site, or a civil war site.. but they are not labeling as
genealogy. <br>
One way to break out of that idea, is to think about genealogy as
RECORDS AND DOCUMENTS. Not family trees online.. many of which are
incorrect or unreliable to start with. Pretend that gr grandma has
never been researched/ uploaded by anyone.. and consider what kind of
records you need to learn about her. Example.. death certificate,
census, family pictures, obituary, her father's will names her...etc
etc. MANY OF THOSE ITEMS WILL NOT BE ON THE INTERNET. <br>
Google is a free site. I have pulled up tons of persons by searching
their name with quotes "John Jones" Indiana.. to force it to look for
the exact name and the location. For some, it even pulls up old books
that google has digitized, and you can download the entire book. Or,
"Oak grove cemetery" dallas is another example of googling a
location, then seeing that someone might have surveyed and uploaded
all the burials there. It won't tell you which relative is yours.. you
need to know enough that you know who is likely to be there, and
recognizing it when you see it. If you need an obituary from 1975, it
probably won't be online. Instead.. you can google the town and
newspaper..and send an email to find where their archives are
(probably the town library). <br>
My opinion is that one of the biggest brick walls is that people are
looking for family trees..instead of looking for a marriage record for
a certain couple who lived in Jasper co, Missouri. Or another way to
put it.. look for puzzle pieces (which can be scattered all over, on
and off the internet) and not looking for the finished puzzle. <br>
We are free, by the way. If you give enough data .. looking for death
date for Jim Smith, who was married to Sally Jones in 1872 in <insert
location>... we often can find that. By looking at the sources used..
you start seeing the path taken to find information.
answers4: There are some free sites, but I have found more actual
records on Ancestry.com, and they get more all the time. <br>
I have been researching my family, off and on, for over 40 years. It
has been the last 5 or 6, though, that I have been able to obtain the
most information and documentation. During that time, I have been able
to get back to the 1630s with any accuracy for my one grandfather's
mother's line, but only his father's name as it was on the marriage
record for his parents in 1877; my one grandmother's lines on both her
mother's and father's sides to the mid-1800s; the other grandfather's
lines back to England in the early 1800s; the other grandmother's
lines to Scotland in the mid 1800s when they came to Canada. These
are the documented ones. I have stories about some, and I have some
undocumented information on others. <br>
I have found trees that have some of the same people on them that
claim to go back even further, but those trees lack documentation, and
some of the information contradicts information that I have
documented. Some of the information in those trees contradicts itself,
when you start to really look at them.
answers5: This is one issur where I'm not that smart--oh I've kept the
family minutes over the last 40 yrs for the reunuion but this stuff is
above me. Several people on Yahoo/Answers researched for me and that
was one of the happiest times in the last year! I have a friend here
in town and she did a book on my family geneology ---all four lines of
it---for my sister and I was so impressed I ordered a book too. After
reading through it I asked her if she would do a book on my husband's
geneology and she was alredy working on it when I asked her. I am
really impressed what all these people can find out. <br>
<br>
Granny i don't know the free sites at all. Sorry

Anybody have some good genealogy/ancestry internet sources?

answers1: 2
answers2: Luckly this is a great solution for premature ejaculation <a
href="http://EndPrematureEjaculation.enle.info/?ywTg"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://EndPrematureEjaculation.enle.info...</a>
<br>
<br>
A guy always cums fast when its their first time. and especially if
he's been waiting for a long time. Guys are erect at least 5 times a
day so what I would do is some foreplay until he ejaculates or the
both of you for that matter its not fair that he has orgasms and you
don't so get him to do you first and then once you finish he will be
more than ready for his orgasm. then use a condom because that cuts
down the sensations for him if he feels he is about to come
prematurely then tell him to come out and do some more foreplay on you
so he has time to calm down. the condom should work but if you want a
baby tell him to take the condom of before ejaculation and then finish
in you. the longer you wait to make him come with foreplay the quiker
it will be because he has to get it out of him. <br>
<br>
He also does need time because you are the only one he has been with
so once he gets used to it, you can really enjoy it once he gets his
techniques down pat. Tell him what you like. Get some books and videos
also until you both are experienced. Or you could even have a quickie
in the morning, when you get home and then at night. he will diffently
last longer because his mind has been free twice already. You get on
top of him and you control the situation. Also my boyfriend tells me
that he thinks about none sexual things for a while to help control
him, tell him to think about a sport or something that calms him. If
that doesn't work then just do IT over until you are satisfied
answers3: I once had a sax change. I went from an E flat Alto to a B
flat Soprano. I felt like a new woman. Well, I hate to be snippy, but
sex change operations are always a risk. You have to be pretty ballsy
to try one. You might try to contact a few sex change specialists, but
don't sound too belligerent. They get enough testy calls over the
phone. Bubba needs all the support he can get, so please avoid any
cutting remarks. Does he know his dress size? He will need a new
wardrobe. When this is all over and the operation is a success, will
you and Bubba still be friends, or will you be more than friends?

answers5: Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at <a
href="https://bitly.im/aOgyJ"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>https://bitly.im/aOgyJ</a> <br>
<br>
Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan
simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller
analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest
payment. <br>
<br>
You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find
out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're
talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly
family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a
right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who
they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves
your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but
also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if
you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a
background check.
answers6: The links in my standard answer are all free. Many of them
have subtle ads for Ancestry.com in them - ads that ask for a name,
then offer a trial subscription. Watch out for them. <br>
<br>
Before I paste it, a word. I have been doing genealogy for 30 years.
Even with the Internet, it would take me 20 - 30 hours to do a good
family tree for someone alive today in the USA. That's two hours a
night for two weeks, minimum. I'd need longer if I had to write off
for obituaries. Teachers who haven't done it give these ridiculous
assignments out all the time. <br>
<br>
So - lie. Pick some likely sounding people and claim them as your
great grandparents. Just keep the general migration pattern westward
(Virginia -> Tennessee -> Texas or New York -> Ohio -> Kansas) and
keep an average of 33 years between generations; that is, if someone
"has" five kids, make sure #3 is born when the mom is about 33 years
old. <br>
<br>
Here's the stock answer. Ignore the parts about buying a genealogy program: <br>
<br>
I hope you'll accept a general answer. These questions come up every day: <br>
<br>
Where can I find my family tree for free? <br>
Does anyone know the {Surname} family? <br>
What are good sites for ancestors / genealogy? <br>
<br>
They are all about tracing your family tree on the Internet. The
fourth time I typed in my favorite beginner's links I realized I
should save them in a text file and paste them in. This is long and
general. Because it is general, not all the links will apply to every
question or questioner. <br>
<br>
These may help get you started. They are large and free. <br>

Tracing your family tree is called genealogy. YA has a category for
genealogy, <br>
Home > Arts & Humanities > Genealogy <br>
There are hundreds of more links in the resolved answers there. <br>
<br>
<br>
Notes: <br>
<br>
You usually have to do some research. Sometimes you get lucky. Don't
give up if your Great grandfather with your surname isn't there. Try
all eight great-grandparents. <br>
<br>
You won't find living people on any of the sites except the phone book
one. You won't find many people born after 1920 on any of the sites
except the SSDI one. Genealogists hide the birth dates, birth places
and other facts of living people to protect their privacy. You will
have to find your grandparents' or great grandparents' birth dates and
maiden names somewhere besides the Internet. <br>
<br>
The free sites are supported by advertising, just like TV. You can't
watch the Super Bowl without seeing a beer commercial, and you can't
surf for dead relatives without seeing an Ancestry advertisement. Many
people complain about advertisements. Please don't. They bring you the
"free" sites. There's no such thing as a free lunch. <br>
<br>
If you get serious you'll need a genealogy program. They are to family
research what "Word" is to writing a novel. I like Roots Magic. Family
Tree Maker is the market leader. Both cost around $29. The Mormons
will let you download PAF for free. It is clunky, but it is free. You
can sometimes find old versions of FTM or Family Origins (FO is the
predecessor of RM) in bargin bins at CostCo.

is hip hop dancing good exercise?

answers1: well, hip- hop dancing is great excercis because you move so
constantly. Depending on who your dance teacher is they might be able
to show you how to break dance, which by the way is not the same as
break dancing but it does fit in the ctaagorey of hip-hop dancing!
hope this helps <br>
<br>
<br>
~*Emma*~
answers2: any kinda of dancing is good exercise, especially if your
moving quickly and getting your heart rate up.
answers3: Yes, but it's not as good an exercise as breakdancing. Any
exercise where you move more, use different muscles, and work harder
is (obviously) a better exercise. I don't think you can learn
breakdancing in a hip-hop dancing class if they are two different
types of dancing, but that's just me.
answers4: hip hop is a great excercise that challenges the body and
the mind. its not a dance, its a cultural revolution. hip hop and
break dancing arent the same thing.
answers5: of course it's good exercise <br>
i take hip hop class myself along with ballet jazz and modern <br>
i get all of my flavor from hip hop and it's one of my favorite
classes cause i can just let myself go <br>
im noticing that im really good at it too because people are saying
"she's so good!" and stuff i get kind of embarassed though because
every one's always watching me to see what i do <br>
well anyway, hip hop is a major workout and it gives you lots of
flavor in other dances too, you should take a class on it! <br>
hip hop isn't the same as break dancing <br>
break dancing is all skill and ive been to a couple of dancing
conventions with hip hop(its really fun) <br>
you also need a TON of upper body strength (especailly in freezes) <br>
i haven't learned break dancing in a hip hop class but i have from
conventions, and a dance spirit magazine, like the basic arm roll,
baby freeze, and a six step <br>
you should totally check it out (breakdancing) maybe even take a class
on it <br>
+it sure as hell is a workout!
answers6: Hip hop dance does not equal breakdancing. <br>
<br>
Great exercise, though!
answers7: You won't learn anything about breaking in hip hop dancing.
Generally, I dislike hip hop dancing.
answers8: depending if you are in the mood to dance to the music.. yes
and no.. but about your break dancing.. no and they teach very little
of break dancing during class.. if they did, it would probably be just
the basic.. nothing to extreme like spin on your hand or pop it and
lock moves that are extremely hard to do..
answers9: Whatever u do, u gotta stay in the gym, and keep the body
strong, flexible, and fit.
answers10: wow

does dance camp help you in your dance career?

answers1: You should apply your intelligence in the dance camp in the
following way- <br>
1. You can watch faults and shortcomings of others. <br>
2. You can learn better ideas. <br>
3. You can update yourself among a large group of people. <br>
<br>
Hope you understand.
answers2: Dancers who do competition dance rarely have dance careers.
It is the wrong kind of training. Summer intensives not dance camps
prepare dancers for careers in dance. A dance camp would prepare you
for competitive dance but just keep in mind competitive dance is
recreational dance and not professional dance. For it to be
professional dance, you need to get paid.
answers3: maximum community ballet agencies carry summer season
intensives (that have ended by way of now) that are very respected and
quite constructive on your dancing skills! although, no rely if it
somewhat is a mind-blowing organization, then you certainly will pay
the fee and can might desire to audition. although, maximum studios
additionally carry dance camps/summer season intenstives, yet they
won't have the main important attractiveness in case you attempt to
alter into disvoered by way of faculties. reliable luck!
answers4: You would be practicing a lot so yeah, you would definitely
improve. And you would learn a lot of new things... If I were you I
would go :) good luck!

which author should i choose 4 my research paper????

answers1: choose an author whose books u really like!
answers2: It depends if you are writing the paper on the author's life
or if you are writing the paper on the novel itself. If you are
writing about an author, choose one that has an insteresting
background story, choose someone like J.K. Rowling, F. Scott
Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Sylvia Plath, George Orville. If it is about
the book, choose a genre you like to read.
answers3: Tom Robbins (Still Life with Woodpecker, Another Roadside

Authors: Who or what inspired you to become an author?

answers1: Robert Musil, the author of Der Mann ohne Eigenschaften (The
Man Without Qualities.) He spent around 20 years writing that book
and only finished two volumes (his wife finished the third volume for
him after he died) and he didn't get much fame or money for his first
the first two novels. Still the complete book is one of the best I've
ever read (I haven't read many books but still, it's pretty good and
not known nearly as well as it should be.)
answers2: I'm cosigning with Maine - Dr. Seuss was one of the reasons
why I loved writing in the first place. <br>
<br>
But my vast imagination also prompted me to write as well - somebody's
gotta write these little random ideas that pop up in my head. ^_^
answers3: I always had a surplus of mental energy that I only ever
found supplement for when I began to write creatively.
answers4: nicely, i do in comparison to saying particular names. that
is via the fact just about something can motivate me. I write
delusion, yet i'm no longer purely inspired via J.ok. Rowling, J.R.R.
Tolkien, and C.S. Lewis. i could be inspired via each and every person
that under no circumstances supplies up on their targets. some
inspiring human beings comprise: a million. An astronaut that reaches
for the sky... 2. An actor for sticking to his interest no rely how
detrimental he's or no rely how lots complaint he gets... 3. basically
all people who has intense targets, despite the fact that the
possibilities could be of them succeeding with them... all of us who
ever sticks to their targets via thick and skinny is an thought to me.
answers5: the creator of gossip girl, its an amazing show but the

answers6
: I just always liked english. when i was ten, i started
thinking,since i like books so much, why dont i just write them?
answers7: This is going to sound childish, but Dr. Seuss was my
inspiration to become an author. <br>
I really enjoyed Harry Potter as well, but I didn't read Harry Potter
as a kid. I didn't read it until I was a teenager. When I was younger,
all I liked to read were Dr. Seuss books. Not only did I think his
wordplays were fabulous, they were also all very inspirational - <br>
<br>
"But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are
going to have troubles with me!" <br>
"You've got brains in your head, you've got feet in your shoes. You
can steer yourself any direction you choose." <br>
"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who
is Youer than you." <br>
"With your head full of brains and your shoes full of feet, you're too
good to go down any not-so-good street." <br>
<br>
He had an imagination that was always about to burst, but never afraid
of exploding. No limits, no lines. I also liked the themes he buries
in his stories. Themes about facing your own troubles instead of
running from them, themes about shooting for the moon, themes about
embracing diversity, themes about saving the environment, themes about
being yourself. <br>
He may just be a man who came up with whimsical rhymes for kids, but
to me he was, and always will be, the first and only kick-start to my
writing and love of words. <br>
<br>
All the best with your writing! (:
answers8: English has always been a favorite subject for me. <br>
<br>
Take a look. <br>
<br>
Writer's Belief <br>
<br>
A writer must have a strong belief <br>
in his/her writing projects. Self-doubt <br>
stops writer from trying, succeeding. <br>
All people, no matter the profession, <br>
have successes and failures. Writers <br>
improve from failures. <br>
<br>
Failures push a writer to look closer <br>
at a writing project, and discover why <br>
it didn't make the cut or was published. <br>
<br>
Failures that grab the attention helps a <br>
writer to move forward and avoid the same <br>
mistakes. Still, failure/rejection, can <br>
be painful. It should be looked at as a <br>
motivator. <br>
<br>
Read the entire post at:
answers9: I was inspired by the English language itself. i was
inspired by Shakespeare. The fact that you can tell a story - in which
ever way you want - to express your views on every subject possible;
is an inspiration in itself. Authoring a book is not like being a
doctor or engineer. there's no intesity in the field of work. you can
work at you own pace, and if yuor book hits the charts, then you'll
make money. I am good with my words and that is the main reason why i
was inspired <br>

answers10: As a child, I spent countless hours everyday listening to
music and daydreaming, creating my own fantasy worlds. I kept driving
my Mum mad with all these stories and creatures, and when I was ten
years old, she turned to me and said, "Why don't you just write this
stuff down?" And, eleven years later, I'm still taking her advice :)
Thanks Mum.

Are public libraries bad for authors?

answers1: I don't know what you mean. If you mean their books being
in a public library is a bad thing, I would have to disagree. An
author's book(s) in a library would give patrons a chance to check the
book out before buying. Plus, word of mouth carries pretty well, and
after borrowing a book at no cost, enjoying it, and spreading the
word, this can improve sales. Another thing, the price of new books
is pretty expensive, and a lot of people will go to the library, and
if they really enjoy a book, will end up buying it later. <br>
<br>
So, in answer to your question: no. <br>
<br>
Edit: most people do not have enough money to buy a bunch of books
anyway. Libraries still get authors' names and books out there and
provide added publicity which can and does lead to more people buying
their books. The author does get more money because of libraries.
answers2: You get well known. You make people smarter who don't have
money and it helps the enviroment. You also get the satisfaction of
knowing your making a change. Helping the world. Eventually your books
will become popular and people will pay to buy them.
answers3: Why would they be? A wide range of people can read their
book and see if they like it. If they, they'll tell others about it.
<br>
<br>
What if you don't like a book? Are you going to spend all that money
on something and then want to return it because it sucks? What about
the author? Do they have to return the money they just got because
their book sucks? Or if the book is good, they can sell more books
because people will want their books and want more from them. <br>
<br>
It's a way to test out the book. Why would it be bad for authors?
answers4: Libraries don't carry enough copies to stifle book sales.
Besides, I highly doubt that an author would want to limit their
exposure to the public by keeping their books out of libraries (not
that they have a choice).
answers5: Um... I don't think so... In what way?
answers6: No.
answers7: Not at all. While they don't make hardly anything from their
material that can be read at the library, their publicity skyrockets.
A lot of my favorite authors came to be my favorite because I picked
up something at the library, thought it was good and looked into the
author. Their new stuff gets more attention because the public library
patrons are often where their followers come from.
answers8: I've never been attacked by one...lol
answers9: That's almost like saying if you read a novel, you shouldn't
see the film based on it. I believe it's a win-win situation. The
established authors already have their fan-base so libraries carrying
their books wont hurt their sales and it gives emerging authors the
exposure they really need.
