Is there any way a person can get in touch with their favorite author?

someone like J.K. Rowling - you can get in touch with her publishers
and they'll send you back a formed letter, not personal or anything.
That's what you'll find with a lot of popular authors - addresses that
direct your letter and/or e-mail to the publisher or the authors
right-hand-man. You can get directly in touch with the author if you
a). meet them or b). know them personally.

email about a month ago. Had an email address on her website.And I've
had friends who've written letters to the likes of Davy Jones, David
Bowie, Micky Dolenz, etc [though, those folks aren't writers].I would

answers5:EMAIL!! I sent one to Anne Rice and she replied within
DAYS!!! It could have been dictated and maybe typed by someone else,
but it seemed to have an answer that she herself would say.it is an
amazing thing... I was so surprised! I found her email addy on her
website. She says she reads all and tries to answer everyone herself.
