answers1:Real books, simply because ebooks give me a headache. However,
unless the book is under 1 dollar, if the book is in the public domain
I get it as an ebook.
answers2:It is important that you can go to your mum with concerns
like these. I know it can be embarrassing but I would still suggest
to your mother that you would like to be allowed to shave your legs
(include all discussions about it embarrassing you that you haven't
been able to do so yet and that all your friends are able to do
this). You might find your mum completely ok with this - you know mum's
aren't that deluded when it comes to feminine hygiene, I am sure she
will understand. If she is ok with it, she can help you purchase the
products for shavingI was 13 before I could convince my mum to let me
shave because I was a hairy girl - she was very supportive...Show more
answers3:Both. I can't walk around with a million books in my arm. So,
I use my e-reader for that and inside the house, I use my real
books. The perks of downloading illegally.. xD

answers5:Keeping Moon and The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen Hope

answers6:dont let them in his bedroom.they are probably getting it
on.you dont want him to get her pregnant.
answers7:Real books I'm afraid. We have lots of books in our
house...I'd imagine well over 2000...I have a kindle though and do
read on there sometimes, but I buy most of my books second-hand anyway
so they are cheaper than e-books.I collect manga myself, and although
I read most of them online I do own an awful lot of them and it
wouldn't be the same if I read them on my kindle......Show more
answers8:Dont let them be alone in his room! That seems innapropriate
for his age. You are the parent, you can lay down the boundaries.
answers9:Real books! Ah, the smell of a book..the pleasure in turning
it's pages...actually holding the book in your hands.I don't care
about space, I don't mind sleeping on books as long as I have them.No
e-books for me.(:...Show more
answers10:I am in middle school and I dont shave my legs yet. All of
my friends do, so i am kinda embarassed. Please help!! I dont want to
go behind my moms back, but I am way too embarassed to just come out
and tell her. What should I do? Also, what razors and creams did you
use?
answers11:Silly girl, boys like, ugly, trashy, mean, disgusting girls.
answers12:I had the exact situation! I just started saying like "can
i..." then i would just say nevermind. I kept doing it until she
realized that I really needed to ask her. My mom and I dont reeally
talk about that kinda stuff..still and i am older...and so she guessed
a couple things and finally got it. good luck! =/
answers13:They are just friends nothing to worry
answers14:Real books. I love the new book smell
answers15:E-books. I recently got a nook, and its awesome! You can add
notes, change the font size, change the backround color, highlight
things, read in the dark, and there's even a built in dictionary! :P
Haha, its just cool to me. Plus, real books waste paper.
answers16:Real books for the win! I have two shelves full, i have about 200 now.
answers17:Yeah, save the trees!. I only have 7 real books. That is all
the shelf space I have.
answers18:That's difficult.Real books are great. The new ones smell
great, the pages are crisp and clean, they're wonderful. Older and
well-read library books smell awesome too, but one that's seen better
days might start falling apart at the binding.Buying books is a real
kick though. It's so expensive.E-books are so much more inexpensive,
but you don't get the experience of turning pages frantically to
continue a story.tl;dr I can't pick!...Show more
answers19:If you are too embarressed to ask your mum she is obviously
not very open about growing up. Its something we all do! She needs to
get over it. I want to encourage you that its a beautiful thing to
grow up and not something shameful at all. Everyone goes through many
transitions to become adults and that can be a beautiful time -
blooming like a flower, or you can be tortured by fear from all the
negative comments you've grown up with.When I was 10 I started shaving
a little bit just around my ankles just experimenting. Then my cousin
had a shower in her bikini and little black hairs came off everywhere
(even though I had blonde hair). My mum went psycho literally yelling
off the patio for all the neighbours "GEM SHAVES HER LEEEEEEEEEEGS"
just to shame me. I couldn't lie and say I didn't because I had shaved
that little bit. But we ended up figuring out that it was my cousins
bikini that was the culprit. I had a really hard time transitioning
into adulthood. But you know what? Shortly after this I ASKED mum if I
could shave and she was totally cool with it. She helped me the first
time to dry shave as the hairs were longer than they will be when you
keep on top of it. I was also the eldest so I had to go through it all
first. It was so hard and I felt really alone. I didn't really NEED to
shave. Most of my friends waited until they were 12 or 13 (first day
of highschool) but I was scared I looked hairier than I thought. I
hope that you have a better experience. Its not that way for everyone
so just be confident in your body - it knows what its doing. Its a
really special and beautiful time. I suggest you start casually
dropping hints like "Yeah such and such went to get her legs waxed the
other day" or "Such and such was complaining of prickly legs today,
she forgot to shave". Then just ask your mum like it is the most
common thing in the world.Be careful and dont be too rushed (ever)
when shaving. You can just use soap and a good razor or you can buy
shaving creme like Gilette which looks and smells nice. After your
first shave always shave in the shower and moisturise your legs after
or they will go white and scaly if you look up close. If you wax the
first time it is less painful after that rather than waxing when you
are older....Show more
answers20:I don't know...both have their advantages and disadvantages.
answers21:It's nothing to be embarrassed about telling your mom. I
wore skirts and was so embarrassed about my hairy legs in sixth grade.
All my friends had started shaving and I had to walk around in a sea
of smooth legs [:D haha] Anyways, I told my mom that I wanted to learn
how to shave because I didn't want to fear wearing shorts/skirts. She
told me over the summer she would show me how. I learned the Summer
before seventh grade. I use Venus disposable razor. The cream is
called 'Skintimate'Good luck and do not be embarrassed to talk to your
mom about these kind of things. If you are embarrassed over something
like this...wait till you get older. :D...Show more
answers22:Real books
answers23:I dunno. I like both.
answers24:Even though I don't have much space for all the book I'd
like to read, I love real book better. E-books are okay... I mean
they're cheaper and stuff, but for some reason my eyes can't read on

Don't worry about him. I bet they are just going in his room because
they want to be in private without awkward family moments (not that
he's embarrassed about his family, it can just be awkward).
answers26:Real books, I just like the way they feel, also they're easy
to pick up whenever you feel like it, whereas E-books on Kindles or
phones etc will need charging and if your device runs out of charge,
you can't read.Plus, books are timeless, I found many books in the
attic of our house from the 50s and 60s, I like reading old books and
imagining their history, and I like keeping my own books for
sentimental purposes....Show more
answers27:I like real ones. E-books simply aren't the same. I'm
thinking about getting one however because I have the space problem as
well.
answers28:Trolololol
answers29:If I wanted more books I would have to get rid of my comic
book collection. You have to have a real comic book. I collect those.
And I can carry hundreds of books with me on a tablet.
answers30:Real books. I like to feel it in my hand, and somehow it
makes it easier to feel like your part of the story... I don't know if
that makes sense... Although I read E-books when it comes to fan
fictions. so both?
answers31:Be yourself, for God's sake. All guys are different, they all
like different kinds of girls. There is a guy out there for you,
though I highly doubt you'll find him when you're this young.Bottom
line is, don't change yourself or try to fit a stereotype just for a
guy.
answers32:Dear... you have nothing to be embarrassed about and you are
being a good girl by not doing it behind your mom's back. It is
normal for girls to want to shave their legs when the hair starts to
grow, I think I was 12 when I started. My feeling is that if you talk
to her and are reasonable she will be happy you are talking to her
about it, that you trust her and want her advice. I remember my mom
trying to convince me not to do it (she had me dye the hair blond
first to see if that was good enough). It took some negotiation but
in the end she realized she was trying to delay the unavoidable.
Eventually you will have to shave, be it now or in one year.I'm 28,
and I can tell you that my mom has always been a great resource for
me. Friends are great, but you know what? Your mom has surely been
shaving for much longer than them so she can give you better tips.
Sit down with her and speak from your heart. Explain to her how you
feel and why you want to do it. Tell her she is the person you trust
for this sort of thing, that you want her help. I wish you all the
best!...Show more
answers33:I started shaving when I was about 11. If you're in middle
school, I'm pretty sure you're old enough. Just tell your mom that
you're growing up and that you want to start shaving. I mean sooner or
later you're going to have to! lol :-P
answers34:There's no need to tell your Mom, about everything like
that! Not wanting body hair is your own right and choice! It has
nothing to do with your mom! Almost every female on this planet we
live on, shaves there legs and arm pits! And many now days, shave you
know wear! It's your body and it's your right to shave unwanted hair,
without having to answer to your parents! Maybe the hair on your head
is a whole different story, because some Mothers seem to want that
control of there daughters hair on there head, but not the rest of the
body! That's personal! I'm sure she doesn't want to even hear where
you shave! It's your body and it's your choice and ONLY your choice,
Mom has no say in those other area's of your body!...Show more
answers35:just explain why it's bothering you and how it's so

and follow the right steps so u wont cut urself.its not that hard and

answers36:Real books!! E books are gay. I like the feel of holding and
reading a book. And the smell! E books ruine the good old fashion
purpose. The only thing they are useful to is saving paper. Why does
everything have to be on screen?
answers37:Real books, I like physically seeing how much I have
finished reading and actually touching the pages. Plus, I find them
more convenient
answers38:Real books, for sure. I love the feel of it, the scent of it
and most importantly, the freedom of dog-earing my pages and
underlining stuff I can relate to. My books make me feel safe. I own
more than 200 books, and they really do take up lots of space, but I
can't let them go away. Too many sentiments attached. E-books may be
more hip, but I still think there's no competition. I've tried reading
on a Kindle before, but it's just black writing on white paper to me.
answers39:Don't allow them in his room. Period. Last thing you need is
a teen pregnancy on your hands. That's how I got pregnant at 16....
Slept in my ex boyfriends room. It leads to nothing but trouble. I
would lie all the time about it. If they want to be in the room the

answers43:Real books.
answers44:I prefer real books. But E-books cost less, take up less
space, and save trees, so they're convenient at times.
answers45:there are sooo doing it!!!
answers46:Both have their merits, I suppose. I like the feel of a book
in my hands, and that booky smell. On the other hand, e-books take up
a lot less space, and they're just generally more convenient.
answers47:Real books. They're more special,I love opening page after
page,rather than just scrolling down :3But yes,E-Books are handy,I
have loads of books on my kindle and it's really handy for taking on
holidays,or anywhere really.They don't take up as much space =DIf I
had to pick though,it's still the real books

that just a friendship, and what should i do if it is?
answers53:I like the feel and smell of real books. However, after
getting myself a kindle earlier in the year... they're just so easy to
use and hold. So small and light... and you can have many books on
it.So I read both real and e-books.I'm reading A Street Cat Named Bob
in paperback and the last e-book I read was The Perks Of Being A
Wallflower....Show more
answers54:I prefer real books but I use e-book much more.
