Do the landlord have to pay for the water in a house if its being rented?

Marvella Benward: Well in Indiana the resident paysthe water bill, but some land lordspay it as a courtisy for the resident renting the resicency.

Salvador Prchlik: Unless the lease states the water is furnished it is your responsibility.. Why would you think he has to pay your utilities? Your lease should spell that out, or state that all utilities will be lessee's name. Johnny Sirko: Unless your rental agreement says otherwise, YOU are responsible for any and all utilities (water, electricity, garbage pick-up, cable, phone...you get the idea).Keep in mind that your rental agreement is the ultimate guide to what you - and your landlord - are responsible for.
