It has a great thick texture and its gets all my tangles out BUT i still have to use conditioner. If I were you I'd shampoo, brush out your hair so there's no more knots, conditioner (then brush out your hair again) and then wash out the conditioner. I think what every girl with curly hair really needs is conditioner. And I can do this plus get washed up in the shower and relax a bit in 12 minutes.
