The raising of interest rates by Federal Reserve is an indication to this effect since they hiked rates to slow down their growth so that inflation won't pick up on larger demand led growth.Indices are scoreboard for the Market and it will fluctuate in tandem with how the market moves. The indices are created such a way that they will never show contridictory signals to those of the general market direction.
