Nadia Crauswell: You could make yourself a website, but I don't know what you think people would use it for. I think you wasted your time.
Jodie Capella: Here's how I did it. I was in a movie class. We had the assignment of creating a one minute movie. They split us up into teams. Nobody on my team wanted to write the script so I said I would. I had never written anything other than school work. It took me half an hour. I called it '60 Seconds'. I put virtually no effort into it. I enjoyed it. It was easy. When I gave it to the team and the teacher, they looked at me (honest to goodness) in awe. I changed to journalism immediately. Often, when I had dashed through an assignment, the instructor would tell me I had done well. That's what you want. Something you can do easily and well that others can't do at all. All you have to do is find out what it is....Show more
Christy Tirabassi: Pretty much as it is, as part of biology class. They should te! ach how the theory has changed over time and the observable evidence for it. Honestly I think one place it lacks is demonstrating the observed instances of speciation, despite all the information on it it wasn't really discussed in science class (as well as how a species is defined)Apparently, based on many a question/answer here, science classes in general really need to talk about what a theory/hypothesis is in science compared to a theory in everyday talk....Show more
Jeannine Vassie: What do you love to do anyway? It's great to make a career in something that you enjoy.
Barrett Alosa: Im going back to school and I wanted to know what is a good subject to get a degree in?
Clementina Collelo: Evolution should be taught as it is taught in THE WORD OF GOD ! Which is as just part of how JESUS created everything !!!JESUS BLESS YOU david stotler
Raymon Fiene: It already is being taught, and not just as a theory but as an "establ! ished fact."Regardless of what people think about evolution, p! ublic schools are fee paying and independent. That means parent choose to send their children there. It isn't compulsory.Personally, I think schools should present both evolution and creation so that students can compare both and arrive at their own conclusions. What is wrong is to force people to listen to only one viewpoint without presenting altervative ideas. Sadly, the evolutionists seem intent on forcing any mention of creation out of the classroom....Show more
Sunshine Holets: No because it is not science, if you want to teach it as a philosophy that would be ok. There is far more evidence that creation is a fact, then there is evolution.
Providencia Jalbert: Ok so I'm a senior and school is almost over. There is this one class I'm taking that I dread. It's an elective and I don't need it to graduate - I passed all my other required classes and I have enough credits to graduate.Would it just lower my gpa? If my gpa is a 3.5 now, how much would it lowe! r it if I fail it the second semester? Please and thank you xx
Salvador Prchlik: Your gpa would fall, the amount it falls would depend on how many credits you already have. Also, colleges don't like failed classes, no matter if they are required or not.
Myron Leftwich: THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THE CODE LANGUAGE IS FOR SECRET COMMUNICATION. like for students at school who want to pass notes. if they use this code language they can pass notes and if the teacher takes it up he or she will not be able to read it and if those students have one of those teachers who reads the notes they take up to the class, the teacher will not be able to read it which will save the students from embarrassment and if teens want to talk on the phone without there parents being able to know what here talking about they can use this language to talk and it will keep them from getting in trouble. same thing for instant messaging. if they download a font of this language they can IM and if th! ere parents try to read there messages they won't be able to read them.! THESE ARE EXAMPLES OF WHAT THIS CAN BE USED FOR. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=28984954106...THIS IS A LINK TO A PICTURE OF THE ALPHABETS....Show more
Vickie Clampett: Well it is being taught.
Margart Stimpert: No. It's a misleading lie.Sincerely E
Ramon Dahlheimer: Yes, for the same reason physics and biology and chemistry are taught. The same rules which determin validity are the same for all the above. When creationism passes that same scientific validity test it should also be taught.
Ariel Arons: over the course of several months i have created my own code language. it's called The Marata Code. it is made up of 2 alphabets the calligraphy alphabet and the script alphabet. each alphabet contains 40 letters with a grand total of 80 letters. the calligraphy alphabet is written and read vertically and the script alphabet is written and read horizontally like in English. i REALLY want to share this with the world and see if people use it! . it's very easy to learn and can be learned very quickly. to share this with people would just be a waste especially for me because that would mean i wasted several months of hard work....Show more
Judie Kise: no, evolution is a religion, much like Rotation, Nasal Mucous and Garden Peas
Jerrod Guilfoil: Evolution is very solid science. We have far more evidence supporting evolution than we do pretty much anything else in science. If you dismiss evolution, you might as well stop teaching science entirely. And then watch us never again invent anything or cure another disease.Creationism is one of 6,000 creation myths come up with by various religions. None of them are backed by any evidence whatsoever. Most of these posters do not understand the meaning of the word 'theory'. It does not mean 'guess'. A theory is the best it gets in science. Theories outrank facts and laws and observations - they contain them....Show more
Gordon Showes: It should be ta! ught as one possibility, but all the problems with evolutionary theory ! should also be taught and honestly examined.
Coleen Carignan: Yes, just like it's is.
Rosio Pasculli: It already is being taught and should be taught as a theory. If creationism is taught. It should be taught alongside evolution as and also presented as a theory, because that is all it is. A theory.
Paul Maymi: You have received information based on reasonable guesses, but the best thing to do is to check with the guidance counselor to find out for sure what the result will be. First, the counselor can calculate the GPA for you (assuming an "F" in the class that you "dread") and can tell you exactly how low it will drop. Second, the counselor can tell you if there is any reason why failing this class might prevent you from graduating. There are, in addition to requirements for classes and credits, a requirement for a certain number of days of attendance. If you're failing because of absences, that might be a problem. Let the counselor check for sure. ! Finally, there is the question of what colleges "think." While it is absolutely true that an "F" on your transcript doesn't look good, only a college admissions officer can tell you how much, if any, influence it will have on your college applications. While you're talking with the counselor, it might be wise to find out if there is any way to save the situation, just in case any of the colleges to which you might have applied do, in fact, view the "F" negatively. One other matter. You waited until awfully late to decide to take action regarding the class that you "dread." That's a bad habit. When it became evident that you were not going to do well in that class (and it certainly should have become evident long before you were facing a grade of "F") it would have been a good idea to deal with the matter. A visit to the counselor at that point might have uncovered ways to save the situation, or might have given you an opportunity to withdraw without failing. If you! handle matters this way in college, you may find yourself being tossed! out for academic reasons very quickly, so it will be a good idea to develop the habit of addressing weak performance in a class at the earliest opportunity....Show more
